“I have been an Artist all my life. I started Opp Art in 1975. Through the years I have preformed Artwork, Design, Murals, Sculptures through-out the US. I came to Louisiana in 1999 to complete all the Speciality Art at the Hollywood Casino. Then in 2004 I completed all the Artwork at the Evangeline Downs Racetrack/Casino in Opeslousas. Then in 2006 Eldorado Casino brought me out to complete all the Speciality Art, to transform the Hollywood Theme to the Eldorado Theme. In 2006 I moved to Shreveport, then in 2007 to Bossier City. I have completed major Murals, Artwork and Remodeling through-out the Region. I’m a self taught Artist, that was given a talent by God to be the best and most diverse Artist.I have completed the most Hand Painted Murals in Western Louisiana since 2000. To date it will be over 60 Wall Art Projects.

I have been an Artist ever since I can remember. Originaly from Southern California, where I grew up. My talents come from a Grandfather that was an Architect/Inventor/Farmer, and my Mother that was into Crafts ( and making an Art piece out of old pieces ). My Father instilled into me, my Faith, Morals, Convictions and Work Ethics. I started my Business in 1975 as OppArt. I mainly painted Motorcycles,Race Cars, Boats and Graphics on Vans. Then I started to screen print, and learned how to do Hand Printed Posters and T-shirts. Then an Old School Sign Painter took me under his wing and taught me Sign Painting. I started lettering Billboards, Race Cars, Surf Shop Signs and Semi-trucks. I then started Teaching Art, Photography and Sign Graphics in a local Jr. College. I recieved my Teacher Credentials out of UCLA, as a Part time Teacher. I taught Art, Air Brushing and Sign Graphics for five years, and still ran OppArt.

Then I started traveling the US with a Restaurant Company. I completed Finishes, Signs, Murals, Graphics in Restaurants with a crew of Four Artist. I have completed over 400 Restaurant Interiors throught out the US. Then I moved my Family to Albuquerque in 1989 where I completed projects for Restaurants, Fema/AMAFCA, Los Alamos National Labs., Sea Launch/Boeing, and I spent 18 months on the Imus Ranch ( Don Imus – New York ) completing Finishes, Signs, Murals on a 3,000 acre Ranch, above Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Then in 1999 I came to Shreveport to complete all the Speciality Finishes, Murals, Brass Etching, Graphics in the Hollywood Casino. In 2004 I completed all the Finishes, Murals and Signs at the Evangeline Downs Racetrack. I started in 2005 traveling the US for a Millwork Company out of Texas, Detailing their Woodwork, completing Faux Finishes, Murals, Gold Leafing in Restaurants, Casinos and Courthouses. Then I returned to Louisiana in 2006 for Eldorado Casino, one of my clients out of Reno Nv. I changed all the HWCC colors over to the Eldorado Colors and Wood Grained all the interior Columns and Millwork. So, I moved to Boisser then and after Katrina I spent 1 1/2 year in Biloxi at the Beau Rivage Casino, Isle of Capri, Hard Rock & Emeriles Restaurant. If I’m not painting Murals in town, I’m completing Home Remodels.

I am a self taught Artist. God gave me a gift to make a living with my HANDS. I was asked a few years ago,” Chris what is your BEST Project ?” I replied, ” I have not done it yet!”
